Caution: This is a pretty lengthy post because I suck at editing my own stuff. I’m so excited to finally share my birthday party pictures with you. For those who missed it, I turned 30 this past May and it was glorious- yes! I get to say that about my own party because it was SO important to me that it reflected my personality and mindset at 30. I’m trying not to get super sappy but I have had so many ups and a few downs in my first 3 decades of life, and I am truly truly grateful for where my life is right now. To celebrate this big milestone, I simply wanted to WILD OUT, and that was how Kunbi’s Wildin 30th came about.

So many amazing talents went into making this day a success and I want to especially thank Sara at Confetti and Co for helping me bring my vision to life. From the minute we chatted on the phone, I knew she got it (of course she did, she is a fellow Beyonce fan). There was nothing too outrageous for Sara and I’m so happy I went with her. My paper, laser cut goods and favor bags were created by one of Aisle Perfect’s certified vendors (and my dear friend)- Houston based design studio ODA Creative. If you want it done right, call ODA. She nailed the vision and took our details to another level.

We stumbled on Barbert Bistro and Bakery during one of our random date nights in our new town of Lancaster, PA. It had the modern city vibe I was used to as a New Yorker so it was a no brainer as the event venue. The folks at Barberet went above and beyond for me and I am truly grateful!

Now that you get the gist of things I have to tell you about Houston based photographers- CLIQUE. I’ve known Afolabi Mosuro of CLIQUE for such a long time and he knows how much I love his photography. By some amazing stroke of luck, I was able to convince him to spend the weekend in Lancaster and capture both my birthday events. Thank you SO much Afolabi and Ambika! These pictures were perfect!
