Chic Red and Black Dinner Party Inspiration by Lemiga

Happy fête Friday babes – we made it! Sending us into the weekend is this gorgeous red and black birthday dinner party inspiration from our dear friend Michelle at Lemiga Events. She’s got all the deets on how to  have a chic and FUN birthday celebration:
I often get asked advice on how to host a birthday celebration in an intimate setting that’s nice but not over the top. I love recommending restaurant private dining spaces that maximizes the client’s investment by only having to pay the cost of food and beverage, or a minimal venue rental fee. This also allows for the conveniences that come with having an event at a restaurant – staff, catering, place settings, and turn key event set up.
For this shoot at Cooks and Soldiers, their Terrace is a private space located adjacent to the main dining room. This space can be reserved for seated or standing events and is fully covered and adaptable for changes in weather; it can be fully enclosed for precipitation or temperature control or can leave it fully open for more al fresco dining.

The party design is all about bold black and reds along with romantic golds and candlelight, and fun balloons. The table was styled using a grey sparkling linen and red dupioni napkins from I Do Linens. C Wayman Floral provided gorgeous blooms in shades of pinks and reds placed in elegant crystal and gold vases with plenty of candlelight. We brought the drama with a floating black balloon garland from MomsKloset. Finally, all the stationery by Tiger Lily Invitations – from the menu cards, place cards, and party invitation set a modern but fun tone for the party. Cooks & Soldiers focuses on the cooking methods of the Basque country. The menu features traditional “pintxos,” or tapas-like snacks. How perfect for a festive celebration to enjoy each other’s company while enjoying a variety of tapas and cocktails. One of the many advantages to hosting a party at restaurant.
