If you’re looking for the perfect summer beach read btw, definitely add to cart. It’s already on our Aruba packing list 🙂 Even if you haven’t read the book, the movie looks amazing and the perfect summer date night flick. It’s also making history as the first Hollywood film to have a majority Asian cast in 25 years, the last movie being The Joy Luck Club. Quick synopsis for ya:

Rachel goes to Singapore with her longtime boyfriend Nick to attend his best friend’s wedding. When they arrive to Singapore she learns that Nick comes from an extremely wealthy family and is one of the most eligible bachelors in his country. During their stay, Rachel has to deal with jealous girls, his crazy family, and disapproving mother.

On top of being just an awesome read and great story, the movie obviously features a SUPER LUXE GLAM wedding, so basically you had us at hello. “Crazy Rich Asians” hits theaters August 15, and you will be sure to see us there, popcorn in hand and wine in our purse.
