Shades of Purple & Greenery Wedding Inspiration

Brianna Kozlarek / Friday June 1, 2018
Let’s head into the weekend with some dreamy wedding inspo, yes? We are obsessed with the use of color in bridal gowns and today’s feature has a heavenly, tulle confection made of beautiful purple hues. Add some on-trend greenery and you’ve got a winner!  “The design inspiration for this full production came from the spectrum of purples  and the color theory behind them” said Rebecca M Creative. “They represent the couple featured as each tonality stands out in strength, but works together to create a cohesive vibe. Knowing that Jessica, the designer, designed this skirt in a moment of creative vulnerability, and that there was meaning behind the carefully chosen color the shirt was dyed, I wanted to make sure the feel of the production resembled that.”
“The single flower held by the bridal model is a solid white Hydrangea symbolizing grace and delicate beauty, tied with a simple blush silk ribbon from vendor Tono & Co., using a solitary stem of floral in lieu of a traditional bouquet was a decision made specifically to represent the strength.”   Breanna White photography captured the beauty in motion:
“The hoops that hung over the table are composed of greenery and carry minor organic thistles and scattered white tulips to represent the late springtime season. Using an installation of hoops that symbolize the unifying power of love and commitment.  Using the tablescape to tie in all of the elements and details of the styled production, we included fresh elements like grapes, blackberries, tulips, greenery. Candles and votives to bring elegance and draw focus to the greenery hanging above. Using gray smoky glass in our goblets and gray in our china we bring the neutral tones to balance the purple spectrum without taking away from the theme of strength and elegance.”
