Cranberry and Blush Military Vineyard Wedding

Brianna Kozlarek / Wednesday January 31, 2018

Happy #WeddingWednesday! Today’s feature is sure to tug at your heart strings, and inspire some gorgeous winery decor!  Tim and Ericka wed at Potomac Point Winery in Stafford, Virginia in a gorgeous affair planned by Natalie Seng of Designed Perfectly Events. Tim wore his military attire for the ceremony and later changed into a suit to enjoy the reception. Their wedding incorporated the memory of Ericka’s beloved dog Sake, who sadly passed shortly before their wedding day. Sake was honored with a floral wreath that Ericka’s dad held as they walked down the aisle and was hung on a barrel front and center at the altar. The couple did a blind-folded first look and ultimately decided they needed to see one another before the festivities started.

The Ceremony

The end of their ceremony was completed with a walk through the military arch and sealed with a kiss! The couple decided on stomping grapes post-ceremony, which made for a great photo op captured by our #PrettyPerfectPartner Terri Baskin Photography.

The Reception

Their reception was filled with hues of reds and golds and the three different type of centerpieces were created by My Wedding Flowers . The couples dined at an elegantly decorated sweetheart table. They opted for both a groom’s cake and a wedding cake. Their bridal party was paired in different shades of red ranging from blush to cranberry. The girl dresses matched their partner’s ties. Guest’s left the reception with artisan popcorn favors ranging from loaded baked to potato to garlic Parmesan. The “Our love is poppin’!” label is just too cute!
