Jewel-Toned Garden Wedding in California

Brianna Kozlarek / Wednesday June 28, 2017

Happy #WeddingWednesday lovers! Couple Ryan and Christina prove the old adage that friends often do make the best lovers. As bride Christina put it, “We started as friends and didn’t realize we were in love until it already happened. We live together, work together, race cars together, and now we get to spend the rest of our lives together!” Cutest ever, no?

Incorporating their own rustic barn doors created a perfect DIY touch to their garden theme. The doors complemented the greenery in the background and fit in nicely with the bridesmaid and flower colors, garland, and lanterns added to the tables. Christina’s dress was picked based on the venue and the overall feel the couple aimed to create in their photos. Kaysha Weiner Photographer absolutely nailed their vision:

Christina offers up helpful advice for couples planning their special day, adding that “You are going to get asked to make decisions on a lot of details. If something isn’t all that important, let your vendors decide,” she reiterates. “Don’t feel the need to choose every song, plan every minute, or be in control of every detail. Let your amazing vendors do it for you and focus on what really matters. I loved all of my vendors, and would not change a thing about my wedding!”
