1950’s Inspired Engagement Shoot

You know we’re suckers for everything retro, so today’s 1950’s inspired engagement shoot is right up our alley. From the outfits to that killer car, we’re loving everything about this. Leeya and Joel spent weeks searching and planning for this engagement session. Leeya is extremely talented as she spends a lot of her free time looking for treasures at local thrift shops. Every article of clothing and prop used in this engagement shoot was found at a thrift store.
We didn’t have enough time to make it to our destination so we pulled over into the side of the road, drove about 5 minutes off of our main highway and took some photos in the scotch broom,” said Bonita of Bonita Gabrielle Photography.   “It provided a perfect color pop to the background of these photos! Who would have thunk? The day didn’t go completely as planned, car troubles delayed the shoot an hour or so and the 20 minutes we had of sunlight left brought unexpected rain, BUT… it was perfect. We all had a blast and the pictures turned out fabulous! The rain ended up adding a romantic “notebook” vibe that was unplanned. This shoot is extremely special and Joel and Leeya were extremely happy with the photoshoot they spent SO much time planning for, even it it didn’t go 100% as planned it still made for a perfect day.”  Bonita Gabrielle Photography captured their love perfectly:
