If you’ve been following along on insta then you know we are currently on cloud nine at NYBFW. We can’t even keep up with all of the jaw dropping gorgeousness. Some of the most breathtaking gowns were definitely those showcases in the Marchesa Bridal and Notte Bridal SS18 collections. The descriptions are just as dreamy as the dresses:

The Marchesa Bridal Spring 2018 collection is a promenade along the leafy hedge-lined pathways of Castle Howard, a prominent brick-walled garden in England. A paradise of intoxicating florals, the collection is rooted in the serene, yet vibrant beauty of the majestic garden. Enchanting ruffle bows and feathered flower details embellish open-back gowns and dropped-waist bodices. Silver beaded threadwork and 3D pearl embroidery are layered over romantic Chantilly lace underlay and delicate illusion tulle. Engineered corded lace and shirred tulle ruffles add texture to off-the-shoulder gowns and cocktail dresses. Strapless fit-and-flare gowns are crafted in silk faille and stretch crepe while ball gowns are draped in taffeta and feature constructed lace bodices. Classic silhouettes take new form with bell sleeves and detachable embroidered tulle capes and overskirts.

Marchesa’s one-of-a-kind art deco-inspired earring and jewelry suite perfectly complement the Marchesa Bridal SS18 collection. A combined total of 19cts of diamonds are set against floral motifs and mesh accents crafted in 18kt oxidized white gold, resulting in a dramatic suite reminiscent of antique heirlooms.

The Marchesa Notte Bridal Spring 2018 collection is an assortment of delicate details in soft, airy hues. Pulling inspiration from the English rose garden at Mottisfont, the collection channels the seemingly endless rows of roses lining the garden’s winding paths. Floor-sweeping gowns in creamy ivory and blush feature details created by Marchesa’s signature craftsmanship and affinity for the finest materials. Intricate beading and glistening threadwork embroidery atop illusion tulle are reminiscent of blooming florals wrapped around the garden’s wooden posts and vine-covered pergolas. Plunging necklines are set against dramatically cinched bodices wrapped in silk satin ribbons or draped in organza and tulle. 3d flower appliques, crinkled chiffon and sunburst pleating add texture to lace bustiers, tulle bodices and tiered skirts with horsehair embellishments. Sleek column gowns are adorned with beaded fringe.
