The First Annual Stiletto Ball by All in Heels

Today we are sharing an amazing post from one of our #PrettyPerfectPartners All in Heels. These amazing women threw their first annual Stiletto Ball to raise awareness and provide financial support to local charities devoted to uplifting those affected by Breast Cancer and Domestic Abuse. We know this is very near and dear to their hearts, so we thought we’d let them tell you about the event in their own words:

All in Heels (AIH), a name synonymous with who we are and what we do in all aspects of planning & designing events with glitz & glam! Our dynamic duo consists of Mia, the business savvy, eagle-eyed perfectionist and Rox, the creative and spunky “fixer”. With over five years of experience in the event planning industry, our ultimate goal is to produce events that are uniquely tailored and unforgettable.

As our business continues to grow, we recognize the importance and need for “paying it forward.” Breast cancer and domestic abuse remain significant issues which tremendously impact women of all races, and have directly affected women in both our families. Statistically, “About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime” (BreastCancer.org) and “On average, 24 people per minute are victims of rape, physical violence or stalking by an intimate partner in the United States–more than 12 million women and men over the course of a year” (National Domestic Violence Hotline). With these thoughts in mind, and recognizing the tremendous impact both these causes have had specifically on our lives, THE PINK Heals FUND was established! Our mission was simple: to raise awareness and provide financial support to local charities devoted to uplifting those affected by Breast Cancer and Domestic Abuse.

As event planners with an affinity for all things FAB, it was a treat to host and partner with our AMAZINGLY talented Freindors for such a meaningful event. To be able to celebrate while raising money and awareness for these noteworthy causes in a glamorous way was truly a blessing!! Of course, it was another fantastic chance to wear fabulous heels! 🙂 On Saturday, April 16th, we were thrilled to host our first annual Stiletto Ball; a charitable endeavor solely devoted to raising money for THE PINK Heals FUND and to ultimately serve as a platform to celebrate and elevate women, who through perseverance have found healing of their mind, body and soul… women who have found their heels again! It was truly a dynamic evening filled with dinner, dancing, laughter and tears of joy!

With immense gratitude we remain thankful for the continued support and kindness from those who attended and contributed to THE PINK Heals FUND! Because of their generosity were able to raise over $1,500.00 for two Washington, DC based organizations, Sisters Network, Inc., and DC Safe. These monetary contributions were used to provide FREE breast exams to women in the District and also provide support services for women affected by domestic abuse.

It is always our goal to turn all our client’s dreams into reality, however, what an amazing feeling it was for a simple thought to transform into a much larger purpose. To see our hopes and dreams transformed into a reality… was truly spectacular!!!! We can’t wait for next year!!! We could not have curated this year’s Stiletto Ball without the boundless generosity our FABULOUS Friendors, we are forever grateful for their support, creativity, professionalism and friendship!
