Key Themed California Wedding

I’m just so full of joy today thanks to this absolutely breathtaking California wedding by Bryan N Miller Photography. Bride Nicole is one of our inspiration board contributors here at Aisle Perfect and a fellow wedding enthusiast. Nic and her beau Marcus said I do in a super stylish antique key themed wedding in Oxnard California. The couple’s main goal was to “create a classy affair, that didn’t scream tight budget.” They definitely succeeded. Prepare to swoon!

From the Bride:

Marcus and I met at a concert at The Key Club in Hollywood, Ca, whose logo is an antique key hole. Throughout the years of our relationship, we began to notice how much of a role antique keys played in our daily lives. As an homage to where we met, we decided to focus on an “Antique Key Theme”  for our wedding instead of concentrating on a specific color. For a year and a half before our wedding, we began collecting various antique key decorations as well as assorted mercury glass decor. We incorporated the same Key logo on all of our wedding stationary, from the invites, to the escort cards, to the wedding menus to our display signs. Our joint favorite color is gray, therefore I knew I wanted nothing more than to have my bridesmaids in different shades of gray, and the groomsmen in classic bow tie tuxes.

The Reception
Since we were paying homage to how and where we met, we decided we wanted our guests to feel like they were at a club during the dancing portion of the reception, so for the table scape we focused on white, black, and a pops of purple, we also incorporated purple up-lighting to give the room a club vibe. No more than a handful  of guests were sitting at one time the entire night, dancing the night away with the glow sticks we gifted everyone on the dance floor.  I’m thankful that such important elements in our lives were captured on our biggest day and that everyone had so much fun!
