John Marshall Ball Room Wedding by David Abel Photography

We are excited to bring you our latest wedding from the wonderful David Abel Photography. Yes you get two real weddings from us today- you’re welcome haha. Meghan and Kevin were introduced through mutual friends the summer before their junior year of college. A scheduled meet-up at a get-together sealed the deal and they have been together ever since. Love stories like this make the world go round and this wedding was a celebration of such love. You can feel the sense of family and friendship in these lovely pictures and we wish Meghan and Kevin a lifetime of fun and romance together.
From the Bride:

We did not have a specific theme for our wedding. We used a fun mix of blue, pinks and oranges. Our wedding had a lot of personal touches. One of my sister’s best friends made our guest book wedding tree for us which was absolutely beautiful! We also had a cake topper specially made that had life-like characters of us and our puppy Carly. One of my best friends made a sign that said ‘Here Comes the Bride’ and then on the back it said ‘And they lived Happily Ever After’ that Kevin’s half-sister carried down the isle.

My favorite memory has to be walking into the church and seeing Kevin’s face for the first time. It was a magical moment that I will always remember. We also both loved our first dance together. We were worried that it would feel awakward with everyone watching us, but it truly felt like we were the only two people in the room. It was very special!

Advice for other Brides:

My advice is to enjoy it! Dont forget that the most important part about your wedding day is your marriage to the man of your dreams. Everything else is just a celebration and it will all go just the way it should.
